Web Page Colors
If you've built web pages before, you've probably encountered difficulties working with colors. Web pages written in HTML use 'hex' values for color representation. A hex value is simply another way of defining a color. Since most paint and drawing software does not use hex values, converting your colors into hex can be a tedious task. The Web Page Color Selector allows you to do this easily.

Matching Images
Do you often need to find the exact value of a color in an image? Maybe you're building a web page around a set of images, or deciding what color border to add. With the color selector, you can find the exact value for any color in an image without having to launch a full paint program.

Testing Color Matches
When choosing colors for a project such as a web page or presentation, you'll often want to see the colors together before making a final decision. The unique design of the color selector allows you to see up to four colors simultaneously and side by side.

Using the Web Page Color Selector To use the Web Page Color Selector, simply select Web Page Color Selector from the Internet menu. You can also access this feature from the Image Viewer using the View menu.

If you open the color selector while an image is selected or being viewed, the color selector will allow you to work with that image. If you do not have an image selected, you may still use the color selector, although no image will be displayed in the color selection window.

The color selector consists of two main parts: the color pickers and the preview area. The preview area is divided into four parts. Each part of the preview corresponds to one of the four color pickers. The preview area will show the color currently selected in it's associated color picker.
