Many of the features available in Pixie's browser are accessed via the "right-click" menu or the "Edit" menu. These two menus are identical and provide most of the things you can do to images.
Here is a rundown of the menu items and what they do:
Batch Effects. PixiePlus allows you to either interactively or non-interactively apply many effects to multiple images. For more information refer to the "Batch Effects" chapter.
Paste. If you've copied files to the KDE clipboard from Pixie or another application such as Konqueror, you can "Paste" them into the current browser folder using this item.
Copy all images to FileList. Copies all the images in the current browser folder to the FileList
Copy filename only. Copies the filename, (without the path), to the KDE clipboard.
Unselect All. Removes any selection in the browser folder.
Delete. Deletes all the selected files. This does not move the files to the trashcan but actually deletes them, so use with care!
Properties. This option brings up the KDE standard dialog for viewing and editing file attributes. It's mostly useful for changing permissions. Pixie also uses tooltips for displaying file properties, which is more convenient.
Play Animation. If an animated GIF or MNG file is selected you can select this to play it. You usually will not need to use this option since PixiePlus automatically detects animated GIFs and MNGs. You can try this if the detection fails.
Make newest file(s). This will change the selected file's timestamp to make them the newest files in the folder. This is useful when sorting by date since the images will be shown first.
Make oldest file(s). This will change the selected file's timestamp to make them the oldest files in the folder. This is useful when sorting by date since the images will be shown last.
